Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites provides funding for a variety of park projects, such as trail maintenance, interpretive programs, and environmental education. They have over 6,000 volunteers who dedicate their time to help alongside the parks through trail maintenance, clean-up, improvement projects, and visitor assistance.
